Ingredients: organic tri-color quinoa
Quinoa is rich in fiber, minerals, antioxidants and contains all nine essential amino acids. Quinoa has a nutty, earthy flavor and can be added to any dish in replacement of rice to change up your grains and add more protein. Quinoa is also naturally gluten-free.
HOW TO COOK QUINOA: Combine one cup of tri-color quinoa and two cups of water in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil, then cover and reduce to medium-low for a gentle simmer. Cook until quinoa has absorbed all of the water (about 15-20 minutes). Let the quinoa sit off heat for 5 minutes before removing the lid and fluffing. Enjoy!
