While realigning, you'll gradually prepare your body for a juice fast. At least 48 hours before your juice cleanse start date, slowly remove processed foods, animal products, caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol.
We know... It may feel like a bit much giving all that up, but trust us here. If you go from a big night out directly into cleanse mode, it's going to hurt. Equally, go cold turkey on a coffee or sugar habit, that will not be pleasant, either. Ease into this transition. Wellness doesn't rush.

During this step, we recommend setting intentions for the goals of your cleanse. What would you like to get out of it? What action are you willing to put behind your desires?
Be clear with your intention. Affirmations such as, "I will use this cleanse as a means to bring more mindfulness to the foods I consume. I want to notice how I feel when I eat healthy foods so I can conquer my sweet tooth cravings. After my cleanse is complete, I will reach for fruit when I crave something sweet."When you get clear about what you want, you'll choose actions that support it - sometimes whether you notice or not. ;)
